Google: Naughty BMW! Naughty! No page ranking for you!
So BMW thought that their "ultimate driving machine" status entitled them to try and cheat the "ultimate searching machine." It seems that BMW's German page (yup, their home country's page no less) used a trick called "doorway pages" which trick search engine ranking systems to make them value pages more highly. Right. Because BMW really NEEDS to let people know via Google about their cars. If this were Fark, this story would have the "dumbass" tag. So when Google found out about it, they issued the "Google Death Penalty" to the page. They gave the page a ranking of 0, effectively removing it from search results.

I used to do that, but not anymore.
Easy, I posted this, went to bed by 3:30, got up by 10:30. I run best on about 7 hrs of sleep.
