Last days of Magic Carpet Golf (aka Scary Monkey Golf)

Found this via Boing Boing today.  Apparently, Magic Carpet Golf in Tucson is closing after more than 50 years of operation.  I never managed to check this place out, but I was always struck by how creepy and sinister the place looked, especially at night.  Jen and I called it "Scary Monkey Golf" due to this:

But from the looks of this slideshow, it was even more surreal from inside.  Take a look.
